요약

 

저널리스트 Emma Marris는 기후변화에 큰 관심이 있는 것 같다. 그는 기후변화 비영리 기관에 참여하고 관련 아티클도 다수 작성했으며 심지어는 시위(오리건 주 국회의사당 점령)를 함께하다가 감옥까지 간 경험이 있다. 

Marris는 기후변화 및 지구온난화 문제를 개인 차원에서 바꾸길 바라는 국가에 비판을 하고 있다. 실은 국가, 기업, 등에서 화석연료의 지나친 활용으로 인한 이산화 탄소 배출이 환경오염에 가장 근본적인 원인이기 때문이다.
